Purpose by Jorge

El preposito de este blog es para guardar nuestras espaldas, para no olvidar que no estamos solos, y para inspirar.

Good evening friends.

The purpose of this blog in my humble opinion stems from a conversation three friends had several nights ago.  What was the content?  Stealing ancestral artifacts-no wait, change.  Self-determination and breaking away/off from an oppressive and destructive system.  Capitalism? Perhaps.  Greed?  Definitely.

We surely each had our point of views as we tried desperately to convey them amidst our clamoring grievances.  But alas we are friends, and as well we realize and acknowledge that many feel this way, though some of us believe nothing is being done.  Action is being taken, but perhaps results are too meandering or meager to bear witness in our quotidian struggle.

The point is this.  We want to be in control of something.  Maybe not an obssessive control like the power hungry maniacs that squander effort on disenfranchising others.  But that effort to know we refuse the obligation to submit willingly to an oppressive system.  We want a generative cycle.  One alternative??

Yes!  Growing our own produce.  Self-sufficiency, even if it is in rudimentary form.  Nonetheless, we feel obliged to commit to our moral inhibition and contemplate the speculative good, while engaging in forms that will alleviate our drowing morale.  This requires action!

So we will act, and we will fail and succeed, share and learn.  We may be miles away but our hearts and minds are center to a growing dynamic of consciousness and eagerness.  That eagerness manifests itself in the power of Praxis.  We will think and act.  Act and reflect.  And in so doing, it is our intent to grow and expand... similar to the produce we aspire to conceive.

Well friends, I hope this has been a benign attempt to gather some perspective on a minute aspect of our purposes.  To act, be self-sufficient (or at least begin on that path), and learn from each other, have our backs, and be inspired to continue this on and in the company of others.

Gracias y buenas Noches,
Tlayolohtli
